I spent three years living in Hokkaido, Japan, and now call London home.

Making matcha became a quiet ritual in my daily life.

Over time, I tried many matcha tools, but shin chasen was always the one I reached for.

Handcrafted in small batches from natural purple bamboo, it feels balanced in the hand and creates a smooth, even whisk.

This shop was created to share that experience.

Simple. Intentional. Made to last.
